Context of the mission : 

The IT Cloud DevOps team is looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer (AWS) specializing in privileged access management. Our team is the PO of the Cloud Landing Zone and the CICD infrastructure, and plays a transversal role to support the IT DevOps teams.

The mission will revolve around :

-Management of privileged access for IT specialists

-From requirements (functional, safety, etc.) to design (including selection of tooling) to implementation of practice and processes

-Objectives: securely manage privileged access (authenticated and authorized) while respecting the principle of least privilege, with good traceability, and auditability of IS hosted on the AWS public cloud by IT specialists (Dev, Devops and SRE).

Expected skills:

• Public Cloud: Amazon Web Services (obligatory): 5 years of experience or more

• Infrastructure As Code: (Terraform required): 4 years of experience

• Privileged access management: significant experiences in this field with successful implementations in a regulated environment. solid experience with certain PAM software solutions (ex: Okta, CyberArk, Hashicorp Vault, onelogin, secureauth, AWS Secret Management, …)

• Automation, continuous integration: (ideally: Gitlab CI): 5 years of experience

•Management of operations and production projects, in the field of IT type infrastructures :

OS: Linux (Red Hat, CentOS, Docker, others…) and Windows: advanced skills in system administration (ability to diagnose problems, such as configuration problems, performance problems, etc.)

• Open Source middleware solutions

• Security: management of privileged access for IT, management of certificates, management of encryption keys, etc…

Python required… .Java, NodeJS optional; the candidate is familiar with agile methods (sprint planning, agile ceremonies, etc.).

Context of the mission :
My client’s Cloud DevOps team is in charge of the Public Cloud (Landing Zone) platform, hosted on AWS.
This includes the following activities:
• Design, construction and maintenance of the AWS landing zone (organization, network, access, factories, …)
• Design, construction and maintenance of the CI / CD infrastructure and associated tools (generic TF modules, code quality, security, tests, etc.)
• Support for DevOps projects and application teams in their adoption of the Cloud
• Finally, define the technical governance of the use of the Cloud and control its application
 
Team organization :
The Product Owner Cloud reports to the Head of Cloud DevOps and is in charge of:
• Ownership of products in an agile manner (manage priorities and backlog, product quality, ensure that operations are carried out in accordance with practices, etc.)
• Operational coordination (coordination within the team and cross-functional teams on the subjects, knowledge management, etc.)
• Project management (manage the budget, prepare and lead the program steering committee, etc.)
• Build and maintain the main activity roadmap (new product features)
• Single point of contact for projects, processing of requests
• Prioritization of themes, Product adoption
• Responsible for the technical quality of the product (resilient, secure, cost optimized, operated)
• Assignment of daily tasks (around 10 people)
• Preparation and presentation to the steering committee / Budget monitoring

10+ years of experience in team and project management, Agile (Kanban, Scrum), public cloud infrastructure (popular AWS, CICD infrastructure, etc.
– Fluent English (organization of international meetings)
– Most appreciated: advanced user of tools such as Jira, Confluence

Responsibilities & Tasks

As part of the maintenance in operational condition of all the production and pre-production database environments, the consultant will have to: – Manage the incident – Carry out “standard” and “non-standard” service requests – Participate in technical projects ( obsolescence management / qualification of new BDD versions / qualification of new BDD technologies

Skills & Profile

Confirmed consultant or expert in database administration / MCO with high added value in the OpenSource world, the person must also: – be autonomous and have real interpersonal skills (required to participate in inter-team / intra-domain meetings). – have expertise in OpenSource SQL Bases: MySQL / MariaDB / PostGreSQL – have expertise in No SQL Bases: Cassandra / MongoDB / Elastic Search and CouchBase would be a plus – have a good knowledge of technical environments: LPAR (AIX) / Virtual Machine (VMWare) / OpenShift (BDD under container)
